Hey everyone!!! I'm so happy to actually write again. I've have my days of ups and downs but all in all I'm thankful for waking up each day!! So for the past 2 weeks I have been on tis fruits and veggie detox and working out! (sounds tough hunh? Well it does require hard work and dedication)!
Before this i weighed 190lbs(+1-3lbs) :-( (its didn't look like it cause I carried my weight well, but it was all there, Trust me!!)
When I first started (day 1) it was fine, I actually like eating fruits and veggies so it didn't hit me just quit yet. Day 2 was okay but I started craving chocolate (yes, I Marie Lofton is a Chocolate addict! :-( !!). It didn't quite hit me until day 3/4, I was really fatigue, going withdrawals and my body was hurting (morning exercise). I didn't think I could do it. But with the motivation and encouragement from others I knew I could, I wanted to see results!! The day that I weighed myself again I was down to 181(+1-3lbs) now get this it had been a good minute since I was previously weighed, it could have been over the period of time that I lost all that weight! Regardless I was happy!! So I liked it up a notch, I started exercising more and drinking more water!
On 11/17/2011 was the first time going to the gym and doing a full work out and guess what? I weighed myself again!! I was down to 174 (+/- 1-2lbs) I cried!! Because I didn't really think I could lose so much and I did! I had to tell the world!! Because it made me feel good about myself!!
My weight goal is 160 and I'm still pushing through to get it. I'm not on the detox anymore but I don't plan to overdo it. I'm keeping meat, sweets, dairy and bread to a minimum and for thanksgiving I will not overdo myself!! Even if I feel like I have not eaten a lot I wont eat myself until I'm full. I do however plan to go back on the detox after thanksgiving for at least 2 weeks! (that should be fun!! Lol)
If anyone is interested in doing a detox or getting more information please let me know and I can help you out. I'll make sure to keep you all updated on my results!!
